SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE EDUCATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 19

Amendment sponsored by Senator Jeff Steinborn

    1. On page 1, line 16, after "TRAINING", insert "AND MONITOR COMPLIANCE".

    2. On page 2, strike lines 20 and 21 and insert in lieu thereof:

         "B. The higher education department shall:

             (1) develop and provide the ten hours of training to all members of the boards of regents and governing boards; and

             (2) monitor and maintain a record of each member's compliance with this section."".
